What Locals Say:

“I currently live in Belmar, NJ. I have been raising my son here for the past 4 years and we could not be happier. The school system is amazing, the community is close-knit, and there is always something going regardless of the time of year. We have the beach, the river, the marina, restaurants, downtown shopping, nightlife, community recreation, and the peaceful serenity in our own homes. The only thing I would like to see change here in Belmar would be the affordability and development. Cost of living is extremely high despite it being a family-friendly town, and too many new buildings are being constructed, adding even more residents to this already small town, and not enough being done to restore the current structures already in place. Other than that, Belmar is an amazing, safe, and beautiful place to live! We feel lucky everyday to be year-round residents!”Niche.com
